China Wuxi : Last Night in Shanghai

After checking in and freshen up , we all went down to explore the famous Nanjing Road which is just at the door step of our hotel.

Nanjing road is like Orchard road in singapore

 They have like "train" ride

 One of the main shop there is this huge M&M World.

 lots of different coloured m&m but the prices are so expensive

Bangkok : Transit Hotel Louis Tavern

I took Thai airways back from Shanghai to Penang and transit in Bangkok International Airport. Since my transit time is more than 6 hours , I was given a short stay in Louis Tavern hotel together with lunch food voucher.

Check into hotel - given room without bathroom . Very basic room with thin walls that i can hear  my neighbours conversation. Thank god i dont have to pay for this. Definetly doesnt come cheap .

They provide 2 cold mineral waters and 2 boxes of drink.

After put my luggages in my room , i head out for lunch at their cafe .

Was given a few choices mains either westerns or thai .
Comes with mushroom soup and freshly cut fruits.

I choose green curry - tastely and damm spicy.

After lunch , went out to the airport to do some light shopping for souvenirs . 

Brought dried fruits

and also shower gel from boots !!!

Brought 2 packs of coconut crispy rolls for both of my bosses.
Glad to leave Bangkok airport at 10.30 pm .... reach Penang nearly 12 midnight .
What a tired journey

China :Le Royal Meridien Shanghai Hotel Review

On Friday , left Wuxi and check into Le Royal Meridien Shanghai hotel on Friday evening .
The ride from Wuxi to Shanghai is terrible , we stuck in the jam for more than 2 hours, so the ride takes around 4 hours instead of 2.5 hours.

Le royal meridien has like the best service ever ... really a truly 5 stars hotel. My sis purchase like tons of things from taobao and they help us to keep those items at their concierge department.

When i checked in , they already send all our purchase to my room .

This is the view i saw when i open my hotel room door. Amazing . I did not even request them to send it out.

 The hotel room is comfortable big but not as huge as the hotel room in Wuxi.

 they have bathtub too .

 very comfortable bed.If given a choice , i would like to stay in le meridien hotel chain . They have like the best customer service ever.

I was unpacking my boxes and need scissors , and i just called the room service and within 5 minutes someone appear with a scissor.

Than another 10 minutes , i requested for ice and in 5 minutes , the lady arrive with ice bucket.

 They have a work desk too ... facing the view.
Not bad .

Definitely will stay here again in my next visit. The location is also superb as it is located smack in the middle of the famous Nanjing road , similar to Orchard road in Singapore.

Paid around RM450 per night for this room . Too bad only stayed here one night.

China Wuxi : Venice of Shanghai

 visited this famous place - very tourist place in Wuxi . Located around 20 mins walk from our hotel.

 The view is really beautiful - especially at night. This place is call the Venice of Shanghai
