Bung Roon Seafoods

Our first night , we headed to Bung Roon Seafood for dinner. This place is located next to the entrance of the walking street.

 Candlelight dinner -

 BBQ prawn - super fresh and juicy prawn

 Clear tom yam - not very nice

 My fav tang hoon seafood salad

Our total bill came up to 1380Baht , everything is so fresh and huge .
Will be coming back here again .

Mali Resort Koh Lipe

We stayed at Mai Resort for 2 nights from 27 to 29 Oct 2013. Mali resort is located at the very end of Pataya Beach.

 When we arrived - we are served with welcome drink , lemongrass drink.

 Our villa is the 2nd villa ...we have a wonderful view of the sea

 Outdoor bathrooms - so not practical - especially when it rains .

We paid RM249/night for the Bali Seaview and this price is for low period only .... located is superb but at night a bit quite.

Koh Lipe - Arriving at Koh Lipe 27 Oct 2013

My yearly beach getaway just ended and now having the post holiday depression . 

Anyway , this year we ( Sis , KY , Marcus & I ) headed to Koh LiPe . 

There for 2 different ways to get there :

a) Langkawi

b) Pak Barra 

We use the easiest and shortest which is from Langkawi and the ferry we took is from Bundhaya company. 

At 7.30am , we headed to Telaga Harbour jetty to check in and waited for 2 hours before our ferry finally depart. 

 We ta pao RM1 nasi lemak to eat for breakfast while waiting for our ferry.

 Depart from Langkawi . The journey took around 1 hour where we experience bump and wavy rides.

 First view from our ferry - clear crystal seawater . No wonder they say that Koh Lipe is the Maldives of Asia.

 We paid 20baht for the park entrance per person.

The Daily Dose Cafe - Tues Morning Breakie

Craving for good breakfast - we headed out to Penang Heritage Center to look for the next Cafe Breakfast - this time heading to The daily Dose Cafe .. 

It took us nearly 1 hour to locate this place - especially there are not proper sign or address to this place.

 This cafe is an open cafe - no air cons - menu stuck to the wall

 Marcus - New York Bagel - cream cheese , smoke salmon bagel RM14

 Cabano - ham , pickles with oozing melted cheese --- yummy RM 16

Lovely place - but damm costly - as the price cant really justify for the small portion - i am still feeling hungry while typing this .

However the coffees are pretty decent .

Cheap Skin Care Bonjour HK

On my lazy Sunday afternoon - browsing through the net - looking for the next skincare to try out and also my "cost saving" effort for finding cheaper source of skin care , I found out tht  Bonjour HK do provide international shipping ...

The best part are the range of skin care they offer ... example : Fancl , Dermalogical , Shu Eumura , SK II
I am surprise that some items such as Kiehl's are pretty cheap - example Midnight recovery purchase will have a savings of  nearly RM 72  .... sadly i have stock up extra bottles of midnight recovery and facial cream when I was in the US ...


Planning to try to purchase some items next month( Sulwhasoo , SKII and Fancl )  -cross my finger and hopefully they really do ship to Malaysia

Spice Market - Buy 1 Free 1 Promo

Last Tues , Marcus treated me to a dinner at Spice Market Raya Sayang for our celebration of his last day and starting of his new journey .

FYI , Spice Market is having a buy 1 free 1 promo on every Mon n Tues - promotion valid until Dec 2013. 

We were so surprise that this place is fill up with people ...

 We were given an indoor table for 2 with handwash

 Japanese/ Korean Section - kimchi and some Japanese pickles

 Steam prawns - there are others example scallops , Crabs ....

 Noodles section - didint try any ....as kindda waste of stomach space - they offer varieties of noodles but only 2 soups choices , curry and chicken.

 Dessserts sections

 More fruits .....however they only provide local fruits and not imported fruits .

 See this donut ? This cost RM9.80++ per pieces - available at Spice Cafe !!

 Chinese soupss

 One of the reason we dine here is for this _ HERBAL BLACK CHICKEN SOUP ... this thing cost RM17/ bowl in Xuan Xin ...... we manage to have the 3 bowls each ....

Overall the spread is good - but unable to compare with nicer 5 stars buffet .... Cost per head RM70/person !!!
