Kota bharu - Sept 2012

2 weeks ago ....Marcus , Sis &  I headed back to KB ...... 

This is the first time after more than 10 years we go back to KB other than during CNY ....

The reason i go back KB is due to a dream ....dream of my grandpa .....when u dream of death people .....you tend to take it more seriously ..... so somehow my guts told me tht i should go back .........

Kelantan is a place the foods are unique .....which you cant get anywhere in the world ....even tot KL/Selangor have lots of copy cat authentic kelantanese foods ...but it NEVER EVER near the real thing ....

Up Stairs Cafe SS12 Subang

Last weekend in Subang ...manage to catch sometime to go to my FAV Cafe ....."THE Upstairs" Cafe ...

This cafe is located in Subang Jaya SS12 , shop lot next to SDMC 

This cafe is on the second floor ......opening hours ....3-11pm ....weird rite ?? Sis and I planning to go there for lunch ...but MANATAHU ...close wo ...ended up headed home for mom's bland Asam Laksa ,,,,

 Sis like damm happy when she saw the "open" sign on the door ....

 Very western concept ....... imagine how nice it would be if this place is in California ...or Mayb Genting ??

 They have tons of variety of cakes , pies  .....and also warm foods

 Their famous velvet cupcakes .......we were lucky this time to manage to try out their cupcake .....often said to be sold out pretty fast

We ordered velvet cupcake and also mint brownies ..... and the winner is ...............................

The cupcake is tasted excel y like how others describe it ....soft and moist cake , not too sweet , just perfect .......

 We also order meatball speg ... tasted ok .....

This place is highly recommended to everyone ..... certain items can be quite cheap ....example ...meatball cost only rm11 , however cupcake and brownies is like rm5 per piece ....

Hopefully one day i also got the chance to open up a cafe like this .....

Nostalgie Penang -Steward Lane

 Hearing so much bout Nostalgie - finally manage to try out that place last Wed ..... located at steward lane .... we find it pretty hard to locate the place ...esp at night

 Stress out Marcus ... good foods prob able to help him to chill out a bit

Headed home to Kota Bharu

After some weird dream from Kong kong few months back , I purchase an air ticket to head home to kota bharu .....


Shortie is safe boarding at sugarrae pet village at Tanjung Bungah .... according to Marcus ....the boarding place is huge ...where shortie got like 3 times playtime with other dogs ....damm cute

During Raya holiday ...... mom decided to give us all a treat by having a homemade steamboat session at home ......YIPPIE .....
