Hotel breakfast was really good ...for the amount that we paid ....
They have 3 times of juices , salad bar , porridge , 5 different hot dishes ....Good choice of hotel ...pat on the shoulder for me ...
We manage to halt a tuk tuk right in front of our hotel to bring us up to Doi Suthep . Distance is around 40kM and takes us nearly 1.5 hours to get there . It was a winding trip up but thank god the road condition is good...
Similar to the road up to Genting highland.
when we reach there around 9am ...the place is still misty and not many tourist .

Mummy pic with the white elephant status behind . This is the place where the story said that the white elephant that carry the Buddha bone died here.
The view on top of Doi Suthep is amazing . Is really worth the climb. If you unable to climb , there a lift up here as well.
The monk there is REAL !!! when i came into the temple , i tot that monk is a fake status ... coz she sit so still ...
As usual they did their prayer ....3 times around the stupta
monks also visiting this place.... interesting ...
At the foot of the temples , they do sell lots of handicraft ... do check them out.
My mom got 2 wooden elephants decorative items for only 400
Tips for visiting : Go early in the morning . I think you can go there as early as 6am to watch the monks collecting alms .
Our place to Doi Suthep cost us one way around 340 i think ...cannot remember
If you wan to save money take a tuk tuk ... but if you want a more comfortable ride , do take a taxi
