Last year i requested cupcakes for my birthday . For this year , i want my macaroon from TWG

Matsu Japanese Restaurant Lone Pine Hotel Penang

We celebrated my birthday on the 24th June instead on the actual day . We went to Matsu , located in Lone Pine Batu Ferringhi .

Walk around the hotel ground..Looks very well maintain and beautiful.

we reach the restaurant around 7.30pm and only 2 tables occupied.

Environment wise , it is cost but definitely not fine dining . I see some of the parlour wearing shorts and slipper. Feel so over dress that night.

price wise is decent for a hotel restaurant.

Yaki Gyoza - one of the recommended
Taste wise : juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The skin is also just nice. Not too thick

I ordered miso soup : served with lot and lots of fresh tou foo.

We shared this carbo ; Garlic fried rice . Very big portion - enough for 2 small eaters like us.

Ebi Ten Uramaki - is tempura prawn maki . I like the sushi taste.

Best meal of the night : Wagyu Teriyaki .
Cooked medium well but the beef is thin enough to taste the marinate . And ...is juicy without the bloody taste. I super like :>

total bill comes up to RM170.45 including 15% discount for CIMB Credit cards and Maybank Credit Card .

We ended our dinner around 9pm and most of the tables are full ...
Matsu served both ala cart and set meals , even a  kaiseki meal which cost around RM 118 per person . We did not select them bcos i am not a sashimi fan.

Myers Briggs Training in Osram

On 22 June 2015 : our boss sign the whole team up for this Myers Briggs Training  .
At least it is Mon , cure a bit the Monday Blues .... 

The main training took up the morning session and the afternoon session more like answering questionnaire to know your personality type. 

(Taken from myersbriggs.org) Myers Briggs classified human into 16 different types of personalities , resulting from the interaction of :

a) Favorite world: Do you prefer to focus on the outer world or on your own inner world? This is called Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I).

b)Information: Do you prefer to focus on the basic information you take in or do you prefer to interpret and add meaning? This is called Sensing (S) or Intuition (N).

c)Decisions: When making decisions, do you prefer to first look at logic and consistency or first look at the people and special circumstances? This is called Thinking (T) or Feeling (F).

d)Structure: In dealing with the outside world, do you prefer to get things decided or do you prefer to stay open to new information and options? This is called Judging (J) or Perceiving (P).

Actually from the desciption of the personality , i am a INTJ but after taking the test , shows i am a ISTJ. 

So confusing rite ?
After reading the description of the personality , i found that i am more of a INTJ bcos ar .... S people are very detail oriented , remember numbers or facts very well .

But i am definitely not a S type but a N that tht look at the bigger pictures and patterns.

Honestly i was unconvinced of  with my INTJ personality because it doesn't sound like me . So i ask for Marcus opinion and he was like ....you read this part ...

under great stress , can overindulge in sensing activities such as OVEREATING   or overly focused on specific detail in their environment that they normally do not notice or see as unimportant ( house cleaning , organizing cupboards)  

He was like ...tht is so so true and started laughing  ...." you didn't notice meh ....whole house so messy. Only this place so tidy .

He say every time i come back from work , i will notice whether anyone touch my arrangement and i will always notice them and rearrange them back .

( His student always kacau my cats !!! )

For a N (intuition ) personality , i do not pay attention to details especially details like this .
However i only notice them especially after i come back after work . I guess this part is just so true about me.

Taiwan 2015 : Mau Ban Garden - The Garden of Lily

After visiting the photoshooting area , our driver drop us at Mau Ban Garden. 

It is a park planted with Lilies .

Entrance fees to park TWD$150 , however you are given back TWD$100 , to spend on either food , drinks or lilies of course

This place is beautiful . The lilies are all blooming and very well taken care of.

Interesting .. didnt know that lilies need flowing water to grow.

One part of the garden , they have like Japan Tree which changes colour to Autumn season . Which of course a bit sesat la cos tht time is in April .

So beautiful the leaves , first time seeing leh .My dad's comment : see here , than no need go Japan see lo.

Taiwan 2015 : Yang Ming Park

Our first destination of the day is at Yang Ming Park . Actually this is just a normal park on top of the hill . But during the Cherry Blossom  season , this is one of the famous area to view these flowers. Unfortunately , when we were there , all the flowers are gone .

 Marcus and I did not hike up to the peak , so we just lepak under the tree

 Opposite the park , there are more stalls selling foods and the view from the sitting area is amazing as these stalls are build on the edge of the mountain.

The hat really makes her look like she's from China .
One thing we notice overall in Taipei is that we seldom see China Tourists here .
According to sis, in taiwan/ china history , they use to have conflict and the taiwan first prime minister is view as a China traitor because he accept the help of Japan and even went there for military training.

 Brought Macha ice cream . Next stop , we head over to this forest area ,which , according to our driver is a famous spot for wedding photography.

When we was there , we saw like more than 5/6 couples taking their wedding pictures.

 Our driver insist us to pose like this "=_=" . Reacting scene from Harry potter . We are " suppose " to sit on the broom stick and Marcus is like the wizard with wand .
