Travel Florence : Airbnb

Our last airbnb stay in Florence is at this place .. Prime Apartments - Carraia

Our host Florjan ...whom we did not meet during check in was very helpful before , during and after the trip.

His apartment is located in the centre of florance. Everywere is walking distance in Florance but with our heavy luggage , we took a cab from the train station to his apartment. 

We meet his friend during the check-in .. 

The place do not have aircon but comes with table fan. 

 Is a one room bedroom apartment and a living/dining room .
It also comes with a working kitchen.
We stayed here for 4 nights before depart back to KL

 Our apartment on the 2nd floor .. The stairs up to the apartment is painfully small and with my parents huge luggages , is crazy to bring those up and down the apartment.

 I loves the small cobble pathway in Florence... so so italy.

 Les s than 10 mins from our apartment is Cathedral

Valentine's Day / 8th Wedding Anniversary Dinner

2018 - Our 8th wedding anniversary.

We celebrated earlier and also went for simple dinner as compare to last time.

Previous years , we used to go for The View for our anniversary but the prices went up too high and the foods was just mediocre .

 Old wife still receive flowers from hubby ... aren't im just lucky .. and also staying next to the florist do helps ..

 M choose this place.... a new cafe around Georgetown area

 They have limited drink menu ..

 This dessert looks unique compare to the others .... did not manage to try as was pretty tired that day.

 

 The restaurant was empty  , only 3 tables occupied . But we went during the weekdays .

 Water for self service .
When we was there , they have their V-day set but we both think is a bit pricey.
It around RM180/pax for 3 course meals.
End up we ordered ala-carte to share

 Mushroom soups wasnt available , so we choose this pumpkin soup .
Taste creamy with a hint of ginger.

 Order pull pork on sourdough ... one of their recommended dish.
Taste pretty unique , but i do not like when the sauce soaks up the bread

 M ordered fish with spicy mayo taste a like sauce.

Food wise - ok .... will i come back again ... prob NO
Reason : Nothing special and tastily
What they can improve - maybe more variety in drinks

This is the last picture of us together 2 years ago .
We did meet up for a short chat 3 months ago when you drop by to pass baby hannah her present.
I wish that we meet up more often like how we use to when we were younger.
