Taiwan 2015 : Day 1 Mengjia Longshan Temple

First destination after we check in is Longshan temple .
It only one stop away from our apartment which is why we choose this place .

This temple is Taipei's oldest temple and was build in 1733 by settlers from Fujian , China .

Temple worships a mixture of Buddhist, Taoist, and folk gods such as Matsu.There are more than 165 Chinese gods that are enshrined here .

Opening hour : 6am-10pm
Free entrance fees

 Weather is really cold tht day so can see everyone in Taipei dress up with thick sweater and long sleeves

Lepak here around 30-45 mins than we headed down to the famous shilin night market for dinner

Taiwan Trip 2015 - Day 1 : Flying by Airasia to Taiwan

This year family trip is to Taiwan , mainly in Taipei area . 

We travel from 15- 21 April 2015 by airasia .

We paid around RM700 per person for 20kg luggage bag check in and nasi lemak per person both ways .

Our flight is at 10am but dad insist of going early cos he scared jam. So we depart from my house at 6.30am.

 Welcome Jenny to KLIA 2 . 

First time here , so huge and professional with lots of seating areas and shopping areas. And ...the ventilation here is so much better . 

Previously , LCCT is like bus station. 

 Since we got like 2 hours to kill , we headed to starbucks for breakfast .

They have this promo until end of this month , if you purchase more than RM30 per bill , free 1 tall frap . 

 we ordered some croissant, chicken pie and sandwich

 Nasi lemak , brunch on flight . RM14 only , comes with 500mLof mineral water. 

 It taste as nice as it looks. But airasia cut cost by reducing the egg from half egg to few bits of omelet.

And yes, i finish everything - somehow you get hungrier on the plane.

We took a charted van from the airport to our apartment and this guy , he drive like a mad person. We nearly got into an accident.

Doodle Noodle Thai Boat Noodle

We are like one of the last person who's riding the thai boat noodle wave . 

Everyone have already try them except us .

This one is the 2nd boat noodle shop open in Penang. 1st is in in Summerton which has horrible reviews , compare to this one.

Last Wed , we came here with Ben Shyen and his gf to try out this place.

Condiments - chili flakes, sugar, fish cause and pickle chili slices.

We try all 4 types of noodles and additional side dishes like tom yam gong , pandan chicken and fried tou fu.

All of us loves the dry original thai boat noodle . Taste sweet and slightly sourish and best part is they sprinkles with pork lark .

We eat total of 5 bowls each .

I find the portion is not that small . I mean around 2-3 mouth full per bowl . If i were to return , i prob just eat like 2 bowls . Should be enough for me.

Pandan chicken is nice and tom yam gong is also nice. Not to say the best in Penang but is acceptable .Per bowl : RM1.50

The Saujana Resort Kuala Lumpur - My Room Mate 's Wedding

My roommate from UTM finally is getting married .

Her wedding is held on 21 March 2015 , in Saujana Resort Kuala Lumpur , located near Subang Airport .

Her wedding starts with a church ceremony at 5pm , at the garden.

Here comes the bride and groom .

Manage to catch a shot - while waiting for the ceremony to start. Thank god that the weather is not that hot...just humid.

After a short 1 hour ceremony ( pretty fast) , we headed to the dinner hall  . While waiting for the dinner to start , they have photobooth area , desserts tables and cocktails serve outside the restaurant area.

the theme - old school sweets . I guess most of them are suku kia favs .

Overall dinner didn't taste very nice . Maybe as they say no pork ??
Foods are very bland especially the bird nest crab soup . It taste like crab meat+ corn flour water .

Brought back some of the super cute tic tac mint 

 AND .... tons tons of photo shoot -- camon!! is free .
Suku was like ...faster take as much as possible .

 So glad that she is finally married to her dream guy .
Hope her to breed and fulfill her dreams
