Travel Europe 2017 : Mercato Centrale , Central Market of Florence

First thing we did when we reach Florence is to get an ice cream. 

We stop by La Carraia which is located next to the florence bridge. 

See the line ..so long leh 

each of us got an ice cream - $3.50 .... pretty huge

After ice cream we walk over to Mercato Centrale which took around 30 mins stroll .

Outside Mercato ... there are small stalls selling leather bags ..
We did not look at anything as worried that might be fake

the ground floor market was close so we head upstairs to the food court

they sell lots of foods and this is one of them

fresh seafoods which you can select and get the chef to cook for you

beautiful desserts are also sold here

The next day , we went out early to visit their ground floor market which is mostly selling raw materials such as spices , meat , olive oils , fresh pasta

Brought back lots of spices ...

fresh habanero ....

locally made anchovies

brought balsamic vinegar from here too

homemade bread for sale too and they are huge ...and they sell as per piece and not cut in half .
People here eat lots of bread.

mom was hungry and ended up went to the foodcourt upstairs to makan.
She got sick of ah moh food so she ordered from this chinese stall - some vege rolls .

Kim's Korean Restaurant Arena Curve

Kim's Korean restaurant was newly renovated and newly re brand from ala-carte menu to BBQ buffet. 

We went for dinner on SAT night and the kia su me arrived at 6pm sharp .

And of course we are the first people there . But than ar , i should have arrived 30 minutes earlier coz in the next 15-20 minutes , more people started coming in. 

This restaurant is located at Arena Curve - shop lot next to Olive Tree Hotel Penang.

 They have an area for free photoshooting session with korean traditional costume.

 Pretty empty coz we are early.

 They have kimchi soup , seaweed korean soup and ginseng chicken soup.
And i love their Ginseng Chicken soap.

 Korean pancake choices are kimchi and vegetable pancake

 Cordial drink selection ( i remember they have barley tea also)

 Pork Bulgogi and Beef Bulgogi taste very nice

 Fried rice ( normal and kim chi ) and plain korean rice

 meat dumpling - did not try so no idea how it taste like.

 They also serve fried chicken but i think not tht nice

 Green tea and coffee serve too

 The cooked meat ... readily cook but remains hot

Overall i think the quality is pretty good for BBQ buffet.
Paid for rm98.50 for 2 person.
Children under age 3 is free.
